Food and Views solid. An absolutely favorite when in Lake Placid. Even if there is a line wait time is usually no more than 15 mins

Sitting on Main Street and having a lakeside view, the breakfast club is strategically positioned for success in Lake Placid. Known for breakfast and mimosas to pair with, this popular joint is a good restaurant to eat at while you're here. Standard in food, you get what you expect and with a lake view at that, it's hard to ask for more! Taste: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Value for money: 4/5 1) Banana Nutella Stuffed French Toast - a lot and very sweet..! A great thought is to split it and provide everyone at the table a sweet element if you're sharing dishes 2) Eggs Benedict - hollandaise done right, can't go wrong here!

On a trip to Lake Placid for the weekend, my visit here was absolutely great. A reasonable wait time for a very busy morning. But also great service. The breakfast itself was very delicious, I got the breakfast club, and a very berry smoothie bowl. I was not disappointed with the results, the meal was reasonably priced as well.

What a cute little cafe. This is our second time having breakfast here. The first time was a few years ago for lunch and I remember it being packed on that visit. I really like the location and being able to look out at the water while I enjoy my meal. We stopped in on a Monday morning a few minutes after they opened. The front half of the restaurant sells baked goods that look amazingly delicious and high calorie . Our waitress was very nice. She was very attentive and personable with all of the customers. I ordered a hot chocolate and although it was beautifully presented it was way more than what I expected. It was topped with an overly generous dollop of whipped cream that made it more of a dessert than a beverage. Of course this wasn't a big deal, I simply scooped off the whipped cream and enjoyed my hot chocolate which was now warm because of the whipped cream. Haha Again, no biggie. It was still tasty though I wish I'd been given the choice to have it served with or without the topping. The breakfast toast was homemade and was quite good. My husband ordered eggs over medium that were a bit overcooked but that happens more often than not when we dine out for breakfast. I ordered scrambled eggs and they were also a bit overcooked. The home fries seem to look the same at many of the local restaurants so it's a given that they likely come frozen in a bag. Overall our breakfast was just ok but still enjoyable. I'm sure we'll stop in again on our next visit and try something different on the menu.

We stumbled in here on accident while shopping and were extremely pleased that we came in multiple times. I couldn't say enough great things about the Breakfast Club, etc. First off, the whole restaurant has plenty of windows that overlook beautiful Mirror Lake with plenty of spacious seating. The food was next to none. We tried plenty during our two stops including the chicken and waffles and salmon Benedict. Everything was very fresh and extremely tasty.

Let's start off with the long wait time, our server vanishing after giving our food and when we need to pay. It's kinda understandable because the wait for the food is worth it but the vanishing of our server decreased the experience. The view and food made up for the wait and service, but is never the case all the time. The special for the day was Smoked Brisket Rosti and I'm happy I ordered it. Brisket was smoked well over a bed of crispy potatoes, tomatoes and onions with signature sauce of the day side with crispy bacon. We also had a basic breakfast order of two eggs, crispy home fries and bacon. Overall, food tastes better when you are by water.

My first favorite thing about vacationing in Lake Placid is the breathtaking views. My second favorite thing is being able to eat here. I would give it 6 stars if I could. We anticipate having a wait when we come here but we enjoy getting a coffee up front while we wait. If you're lucky enough to get a table near the window, you'll overlook the lake and observe a wide array of activities - boating, fishing, kayaking, etc. A few winters ago we watched people getting dog sled rides and then went outside to try it to! I usually order eggs Benedict. The breakfast burrito is also pretty great. So is the French toast and pancakes. You really can't go wrong with anything off this menu. My mouth is watering while I write this.

Popular breakfast restaurant in downtown Lake Placid. During busy times the wait can be 15-30 minutes. They also have a to go section of the restaurant where you can get pastries and coffee. Service and food were good. I had the salmon eggs benedict which comes with home fries. The home fries weren't great. Some were too hard and a bit bitter. They make good scrambled eggs which were a bit wet and not dry and bland like some places. There are also green and red hot sauces on the table. Street parking or town lot parking only.
